ENGINE TEMPERATURE TOO HIGH

Hello everyone hope you are well lol.

Our 406 hdi 110 estate is coming up saying engine temperature too high even though the temp guage drops to nothing!!!

Any idea's.

51 REG HDI 110 ESTATE IS QUICKER THAN 04 HDI 110 SALOON BOTH HAVE HAD REMAPS???

Does this also include the 2.0 HDI... when i turn my air con on the compressor engages
but the fan doesn't come on then after a few mins it starts to cut in and out ...
.. ooh are those drugs for me Matron

I occasionally get this as well, altho it goes away straight away.

My temp gauge has always been a bit eratic.

:arrowu: Yep mine too. Sometimes it comes up on the display just before the fan kicks in.

Hello again everyone.

Sorry I've not posted lately have been a bit busy.

Ok I have just had a look at my 406 and as soon as I hit the air con button the fan starts to spin at slow speed.

However after about 60 seconds it stops........

Is this normal?

Please help as my miss's is refusing to drive the car due the anoying beeping.
