Hi Guys and Girls,
As you can see I am new to this forum and would like to ask a question regarding my Subject above.
I have a pug 406 Estate 2.2HDI 16v on a 02 Plate The above message has come up on a couple of occasions but I dont understand what it means and if it would be possible to fix myself or if it is a garage job. I thought it may have something to do with the particulate filter but have since discovered there is a seperate warning light for this and does not seem to need attention for approx 20,000 more miles.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated. The message is intamitant and seems to come on only when it has been raining hard or the car has been sat for a while and is wet.
Many Thanks for your time, if you require any more info please let me know.
P.s can someone tell me if my engine is a D8 or D9.
Cheers,
ihmix
