uprated brakes

hi all im geting a bit of engine work done soon and need to uprate front disks and pads. dint know if any of you can recomend anything. coupe brakes are to much £. have seen some omp ones on flee bay seem like they would be ok. thanks 8) 8)

whay engine do you have as i put 2.2hdi disks and pads on my 1800 as standards are tiny all i had to change is caliper carriers from scrappy at a massive £10 as the calipers them selves are the same

have a look at your wheels and how close is you brake caliper to your wheel, i have 15" alloys on mine and the caliper is so close to the alloy theres only about 3 thicknesses of paper between them with the 2.2hdi disks on, as yours my already have larger brakes than mine as standard

Fitted EBC green stuff pads n discs to my tubby made an improvement in bite and stopping distance. :)
