"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

Could be power for a caravan socket? Does the car have any sign of a towbar having been fitted in the past?
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Hi If its like my D8 estate there is in fact a grommeted hole almost dead centre of the passenger`s footwell, Its not easy to find unless you know its there...
You need to lift the carpet, and the sound insulation under the carpet and about half way between the floor and the passenger parcel shelf you should find a nice sized grommeted hole. It means a lot of trim /clips etc need to be removed to get at tho... so you may wish to make your own hole and grommet that instead. I`ll try to take a photo if you would like an idea of where it is from the the engine bay side.

The view from engine bay showing my amp cable routed along the nearside inner wing bulkhead i routed it down the rear of the servo. I dont have abs so the alarm siren you can see is roughly where your abs would be I think.

The view showing where the grommet is in relation to the brake servo. If you stretch your arm in and feel for the bulkhead roughly where a passengers left foot would rest you should come across the rubber grommet

Finally the view showing where it is

From inside the car the best way i can describe the location is as above.. you will see/feel the curved wheel arch and then about an inch in and about 6 inches up from the the floor pan on the flat section of the foot well is where it will roughly be.
