Hi all,
After trawling the net I am surprised I cannot find a guide to do my discs and pads. Now maybe as its too easy for a guide but I was wondering if anyone has some instructions on doing so.
I have wheel off, caliper off but what's next? Big nut in the middle? (tight as hell) or 2x torx screws on old disc (seized I reckon)
Any help gratefully received before I go any further in guessing my way along.

the 2 torx screws are next , tap around them with a hammer hopefully
this may loosen some of the crud around them , then you can tap the disc off.
when you put the new ones on copper slip where the disc fits and the screws
and bolts. If you have rear discs they have got brake shoes inside the disc
for the handbrake , when you get the screws out you may need to loosen of the adjuster
you can see it through hole in the disc this will allow you to get the disc off

.. ooh are those drugs for me Matron
Re: Replacing discs and pads all round
Well, I just did my front discs.
Take off the two torx screw or drill them out but remove them.
Remove the caliper carrier, it can be difficult as the torx bolts are thread locked in and may have been on for 120k miles.
So with torx off, and a clear disc tap with hide mallet and off it comes.
Clean up the axle carrier face very well and replace the disc, tighten up the torx (apply stud lock) and put on the caliper carrier.
Re-mount the caliper and push the piston apart enough to get the new pads in, don't forget the brake fluid will rise as you part the old pads, so be prepared to remove some fluid. You could put a small amount of copper based grease on the pad shoulders but be careful
Fit the pads and press the brake pedal down to allign and take up the piston movement.
Hope this helps for the front, I have drums on the back so no experience rear pads on a pug.

Re: Replacing discs and pads all round
Fantastic, thank you both.
I got as far as the torx screws. One on each side at the front seized solid and rounded off so its drilling and 'easy out' extraction for them tomorrow I guess.
Yep, it's discs at the back too so will play with them tomorrow aswell.
Thanks once again.
