Hello

I have 406 hdi110 2000 and today it stopped on my wife she says it just died after a few mins it started and drove 200 yrds and died again
no warning lights all electrics look fine sounds like fuel starvation any ideas

great site wish i had found it sooner

very possibly the low pressure lift pump in the fuel tank a known problem
especially on a car a few years old , happened on my 110 X reg cost about
£130 from main dealers but fiddly to fit when it happens again try lifting
rear seat you will see top of pump and gently tap it .

It would seem that the engine managment light is showing yellow so at least the car knows it is sick
will check pump later
