EGR valve info needed

Does anyone have diagrams or pictures showing details and position of the EGR valve on a 406 2.1 litre XUD engine please? (Also how to disconnect it) There's nothing in Haynes.

EGR valve on 2.0 HDI is at the rear of the enginetoward the passenger compartment more or less in the centre of the engine. It is connected to a solenoid (black plastic object on bulkhead with two tubes coming off it)one tube goes to the EGR and the other to the servo on the brakes. Have you got a problem, if so what ?

The 2.1 TDI engine that Andre has is nothing like the HDi engine.

I have one also, but it's so crowded back there, I haven't got the foggiest idea where it is. I suspect that it's very difficult to get to even if you did know, given that the engine has to come out just to work on the turbocharger.

Thanks for your help. The EGR is 'down the back' somewhere and that's why a diagram would be helpful.
