Yeah I've got a right squealing going on which sounds like it's coming from the tensioner and the belt looks pretty worn so it looks like I'm going to have to change it.
So who knows about the tensioner on these things? Looking £200 from the stealer for a new one (all 3 parts - dunno what's actually needed) and GSF don't seem to be able to help. Sod paying for that, probably hit a scrappy, although £36 for the non-tensioned pulley seems reasonable enough if it turns out to be that
How do you actually slacken them?

Re: V6 aux belt
If you mean that floaty bouncy tensioner then it usually all goes silent once you change the belt!
You just heave on the nut and it turns out of the way to slacken the belt for you. I'd go for the belt first.

Re: V6 aux belt
bouncy? Looks like a big spring for bouncy! I didn't have a feel though because I'd just had an, uh, "spirited" (p*ssed off) drive home and that engine block does tend to get a bit warm at the best of times

That's weird, the ES9J4 is the only engine they don't cover
They've got a load of other types that I've never even heard of!
