MOT Time Again

Post by johnd »

Just had the pug down to the local garage for it's mot and all it needed was 2 new tyres which the garage put on for me while they did the service for me. The only advisory they gave me was the cambelt is coming up for its change at 80,000 miles he gave me a price of £129 for changing it. I will do some ringing around to get some prices, but I'm cautious about going to other garages I've found a garage that i trust and he doesn't rip me off like some of the stories i've heard from friends.
Total bill for todays work
£40 = MOT
£60 = Service
£78 = 2xtyres

Sounds good to me 8)

The 406 is pretty fair come MOT time with only usually a couple of silly bits if it fails at all!
