406 SV Fuel Filter Replacement Advice

Hi all.

I'm finding it difficult to replace the fuel filter in our 406SV.

I have released the plastic strap around the filter but the filter is wedged in behind the fuel tank in a recess that is smaller in size than the diameter of the filter, so the filter cannot be pulled through the recess. There is also not enough space to get my hands in to release the fuel lines on both sides of the filter.

Am I missing something?

I assume the setup is similar in all petrol 406's so any advice from others who have successfully changed the fuel filter would be much appreciated.
