On the schedule for tomorrow.

I've been running it with a high concentrate of Redex for the last 300 miles and it does seem to be a little livelier.

Give him a good service, all filters, redex and the like, oil change and thrash him up the motorway to wake him up.

Accsess to the tank strainer is from under the rear seats, first remove the round back disck, then tie the two fuel pipes with some string (so when you remove them they dont fall down behind the tank) undo the pipe clamps and remove the pipes, disconect the wireing plug, then undo the black ring round the outside and lift the unit out noteing the direction that the arrow is pointing, clean the strainer and put it all back together useing new pipe clamps.
The hard part is getting the ring back on as you will be fighting against the spring, you will need to push the center part down with one hand and screw the ring on with the other.
