Ive had my 406 for 2 years and it really has been great
i had to cambelt done about a year ago and the clutch done last week, i always said to myself once i had these two done i would consider a chip
the car is on 130k miles at the moment
I do around 800 a week, about 600 is motorways, these chips say they improve performance AND economy
The ones ive seen on ebay say they will increase my bhp to 115, i had a xantia that was 110bhp which i loved, so is it worth it?
Does it really improve the economy if driven sensibly or is this all just sales patter
Any links to reccomended ones, or is it all just a waste of time?

Most people seem to think re-map is much better than these gadgets, (that work by 'fooling' the ecu into increasing the fuel pressure). Have a look at this or try a search.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
