I'm trying to identify the module that sits in the box next to the ECU on my 2.1.
The car wont start and this thing is buzzing when I power up the ignition.
Is it the glowplug controller??
Cheers

You'll be wanting to take a picture...
If it's sitting opposite the ECU to the windscreen side of the box with a connector that has a red latch and rubber boot, it's probably a relay box and if it's buzzing will likely need replacement.

Re: Part identification please!
ECU sits to the right of the box and this module thingy sits to the left.
I am assuming it is a relay of sorts but don't know what it is called to ask for another one.
There is a picture showing it in the Heinz manual but it doesn't seem to refer to it.

Documentation on the various little boxes around these cars is minimal at best, and even Peugeot tend to only refer to them as "electrical box" or similar

Re: Part identification please!
I know the box, I had mine out a while back but, as you say, Haynes is typically enigmatic. I think it contains relays for fuel pump etc. and was one of the boxes that was buzzing when my battery died so maybe you should look at the connections.

Re: Part identification please!
Found it.
It's a multi-function injection relay (£32=VAT).
On it's way and will be fitted tonight so fingers crossed.
I'll let you know if it works or not.
Cheers
