I had to replace my fan unit, about £120.00 from Eurocraparts.

Check the 40A fuses too in the engine bay near the battery as the fan takes out one of these and flags the Engine Light......oh hang on :oops:

It's the fuse with the white dot on it......

on D8s the fan fuses are in the fusebox tucked down the side of the battery, not the main engine fusebox :shock:
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Yes but mine's a D9 (and Welly's) 8)

Funny you should say about the engine management light because it did come on last week, so I knocked the ignition off and left it for a bit before starting.
Will check that fuse, thanks.
