Parts Websites

Post by 406gtx »

Can anyone recommend a reliable site to order parts from. I need a set of ARB bushes and possibly need to replace tracking control arms/suspension bushes on a 406 2.2HDi Estate (2001 model).

I'm in France and the prices here are bonkers, but I'll be back in the UK at the start of September so I can pick them up from a relatives address.

Any suggestions welcomed.

Update - just had the back wheels off - slight movement on O/S/R wheel when held at 3/9 o'clock. no movement on the N/S/R. Both ARB bushes have splits in them. Drop arm looks OK.

<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

I could easily have got this wrong, but it looks to me like Eurocarparts are only a little cheaper than Peugeot in the UK, so are you sure you couldn't get these bits cheaper in France?

If I've got it right, you need two of each, (can't remember which is front now)
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)

2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
