How do I bypass the limp home mode

Hi all,
Ive been pondering how to bypass/remove the limp home mode on the 406, cos its doing my head in.
My VV turbo is a bit sticky on cold mornings, and is fine if you drive with the foot off the gas until it warms up. Then all is well. Im not aboot to give it a new turbo either!!!
Recently, on cold mornings (its zero C up here now!) it has been going into limp home mode, and I have to put up with it the 20 mile drive to work. Im presuming this is caused by the mixture being too rich, and upsetting the 02 sensor, cos the same happens on warm mornings if you press down too much on the gas while the turbo is still sticky. I get the "antipollution fault" coming up.
All I want it to drive the car as it is without the thing limiting the revs to 3000. HELP PLEASE!!!

1 start engine and let it warm up before driving
2 invest in a kenlowe[people who make the electric fans] auto start kit
but being tight these will all cost you a few quid so might not work for you

or get a small parifin heater leave it under the engine so the engine is warm when you start it.used this when i lived out in austria in the winter.just be careful where you place it and make sure you have no leaks on the engine.

All good ideas. I must try putting it into the garage at night as well!

Also, what is the best/quickest way to reset the limp mode? If it is left off for X time, it resets. What is that time? Any other ideas for reset/bypass???

If the turbo is sticking (i'm not sure how you would know this) then run a Forte oil flush through and change the oil?

Some limp modes can be reset by switching the engine off/on.

There could be some other fault for going into limp like the throttle position sensor etc. but you'd need a code-read for that.......and that costs money

I have now found out that If I pull over and switch the ignition off for 15 seconds minimum, it resets the limp home mode, and all is well in 406 land again. It sure beats having to open the bonnet!! Nice one.
