The time has come for my 406 to meet the scrap man, it will cost just too much to keep it going. I would like to thank everyone for all the advice and help they have given me over the years. Without all your help, the car would have gone a long time ago. Cheers

Tbh I'm hooked on them; when my current one dies I shall get another (probably an early D9 now!)
Damn the government and their scrappage scheme, pushing up 2nd hand prices!

Well I'm afraid i am now a member of the Rover 75 drivers brigade, i went for the 2.0 CDT Diesel B.M.W. engine, and, of course, having had the exec i went for the model with all the whistles and bells on it, the Conn. S.E. which comes with literally everything fitted to it
They also have an excellent members forum like this one which has already saved me a LOT of money!!

Also not having to watch the fuel gauge all the time is a nice change
