Towing eyes

Here's a little word of advice: check if your towing eye fits either of your sockets.

Out of 5 sockets on 3 406s, only one has fit - the front one on the estate.

Also be aware that the coupe can't be driven/winched onto the towing trailer of an AA van because it's too low for the ramps, but it CAN be winched on if they use their long chocks to raise the ramps. I suspect the saloons/estates may be a similar story, even without splitters on (I gave permission for the AA guy to let the splitter be ripped off, and the ramp started to dig into the bumper)
