Changing the Discs

Thinking of changing my brake discs, Front and rear!

What i really need to know is the correct part? I have a 2000 2ltr hdi executive!!

Nothing special - your local factors should be able to provide you with the correct parts by car reg or description

Be sure to change the pads as well, and if you're doing the rears you may as well stick a new set of handbrake shoes in there. Beware the backplates will be rotten! :roll:

I found Ebay is a good source for brake bits.

I got a full set of discs, pads and shoes all round for about £120 delivered from ebay, Mintex brakes.

Give yourself a day to get it all done, or do front one day and back another day, like I did.

I'd also check how rotten the handbrake cable is while you've got the back end apart.
