). Anyway by the time I got to work the novelty had worn off and I was already missing some of my creature comforts, namely cruise and armrests 
I was told mine would be in and out in one day, but the garage were let down by their supplier who sent the wrong cam belt kit and the wrong spark plugs, bits for the normal 2.0l 16V
. Those of you who know the HPi engine will know about the famous £50 a set "dealer only" Bosch plugs that the HPi takes (the bloke at the garage told me that the donkey at the supplier asked if he could "make the plugs fit"? 
) so by the time the right bits arrived it was too late to get it finished so I was stuck with the diseasel overnight.Wednesday dawned, incidentally the wife's birthday (managed to see her for 2 mins in the morning before work
), the car would be ready after lunch but it was college day and my car was in a garage that was 40 mins away (with a clear run) and I had exacly 2 hours free in which to go and get it..... between 4 and 6..... right in the middle of the afternoon rush hour.... not going to be a clear then eh? . An urgent but lucky trip later and I was back in college with enough time to spare for a cup of tea, and with my card relieved of the sum of £425, which I actually thought wasn't that bad. It breaks down as £240 for the cam belt change and £185 for the service (which includes the £50 worth of plugs ).Right that's me sorted for another 2 years then...
