NEW CAMBELT & BOTTOM PULLEY

Post by marco2002 »

Hi
Thinking about having the cambelt & tensioners, bottom pulley and waterpump replaced. If I buy all the parts how much do you i would
be looking at to get everything fitted? Rough estimate for labour? I was thinking about getting a mobile mechanic to do it as well anyone had
any experience of using one of these guys?

Thanks

Just popped into the local garage i use and they quoted £180 to do the whole lot including the anti-freeze. I don't think thats too bad? Parts will cost about £150.
Its a shame i live in dorset i'd have definately let Jasper do it. Birmingham is a bit far to travel from here

If I recall rightly, my garage charged me £320 including parts to do the cam belt and bottom pulley, if that helps.
