i got a noise!!!

hi all

i have a 406 2.0 turbo petrol on a p plate and the gear box went wich i have just replaced along with a new clutch and a clutch slave master cylinder assembaly so thats been done the car has been stood for like 2 months at the garage well i got the right parts from the supliers (nightmare )

so any way i picked it up today only to get down the road and hear a like a flat tyre noise like "duhduh..duhduh"lol
when i go anything over 10mph took it back to the garrage and the said its possably a front cv joint but it sound like its coming from the rear when i am driving so i left it assumeing that they were not interested cuese they never even looked at it!!

so has anyone else had this problem of the noise and does anyone have any ideas what it could be
any help would be well appreceated

oh sorry i forgot to say it sounds like it gets louder when braking
