Re: Various eurocarparts related questions
I'm not sure what you mean, it seems obvious that a pump will contain a pump, so perhaps that's not what you're asking

Pump and whaterver is needed to change it. So the white frame like in the picture, complete with fuel level thingy I assume. Haynes says that single pumps are not available on the market...steve_earwig wrote:I'm not sure what you mean, it seems obvious that a pump will contain a pump, so perhaps that's not what you're asking
eurocarparts says:
"fuel pump module", so I guess it's all the stuff?

Sorry, I can do better than that - I wanted you to see the pictures of the pump taken to pieces so you could see what is inside, the words were not important.
Green stuff? Probably not unless you go racing.

Oh well, then I assume eurocarparts is selling what is in the pic and I only need the seal.steve_earwig wrote:Sorry, I can do better than that - I wanted you to see the pictures of the pump taken to pieces so you could see what is inside, the words were not important.

I thought of buying discs and pads since ECP had the 15% discount, but I'll just get the standard ones.
Thank you so much for your help, and sorry for my poor understanding and writing skills!

Well, sometimes it takes me a while to understand sentences that you probably consider obvious, but that's something I plan to rectify with time.steve_earwig wrote:There's nothing wrong with your English!!(unlike mine

I'll post my shopping list tomorrow when I make the order.

Re: Various eurocarparts related questions
ECP is disappointing. I made the order yesterday and still didn't get my shipping quote email, although they said it was due yesterday. Thus the shipping will be carried out monday and I'll never get my stuff before the other week, which is too late for me.

Re: Various eurocarparts related questions
I cannot believe this. My C/C has been valid for the last years and never let me down, now ECP says my card is not acceptable, even though it is in their list.
The chat operator cut the conversation and BLOCKED my IP so that I cannot access the chat anymore (well, there are some tricks...). I did not insult or attack the operator or whatever, I was just disappointed of their service.
This is absolutely incredible, in years buying stuff from the net I've never been treted like this. It seems like they do not want me to by from them anymore, I for sure won't. Incredible, incredible.
I'm really disappointed, not only they do not accept Paypal (what are they, troglodites?) but they cannot ship to a different addres from the one of the credit card.

Re: Various eurocarparts related questions
That's a bit rough
I used to have that sort of problem with them blowing a fuse if I try to ship to a different address (card registered in...UK, delivery address...Croatia) but they all seemed to have got their heads round that one now (shame about the import duty
) I've never ordered anything from ECP though. Looks like I never will...
Were both the addresses in Italy?
I'd suggest getting your parts elsewhere, perhaps via someone on the forum using paypal?
Anyone feel like having a row with ECP?

Re: Various eurocarparts related questions
Yep, both addresses are in ITA. But the main problem is that they are late with the shipping and do not answer my queries. I tried to call them but the phone line falls after some seconds, and BTW my spoken english isn't that good after all.steve_earwig wrote:That's a bit roughI used to have that sort of problem with them blowing a fuse if I try to ship to a different address (card registered in...UK, delivery address...Croatia) but they all seemed to have got their heads round that one now (shame about the import duty
