What could this be.....Please help!

Here is what the alternator looks like.....Apart from missing a pulley!!





Been at all the other pulley's with a flathead screwdriver as they were all looking like this where the belt had melted onto them before splitting.....

Thats what mine looked like but it wasnt the alternator that caused it,

your lucky realy it didnt find its way into the cambelt and implode in there,

Clear off all the pulleys and all shouid be good,

Double check round the back of the pulleys that non of the belt got behind it as this can bugger up the other pulleys
