Re: air con pump
Sometimes if it hasn't been used for a long long time the seals on the pump dry out and the gas can escape, the slight amount of oil carried in the gas lubricates the seals and keeps them plyable when the A/C is in use.I would have thought overuse would have not caused it to fail as think of your fridge at home as it's on 24/7 and very rarely fails.I'd get them do a thorough leak test before you hand over your cash,it you've a leak it's most probably on the condensor at the front as it's prone to corrosion and stone damage.

Re: air con pump
I took my 307 there thinking it was the air con, they recharged it, but because of a resistor fault on the blower motor it wasnt any cooler. (The resistor was cutting out the Aircon when the motor was turned on!)lozz wrote:Yeah iagree,
couid be short of refrigerant that,
mine dont click, as its empty ithink, going to use one of the kwick thick garages, Recharge or no charge service,
they seem fairly cheap,.
