Hello,
One question regarding canceling the EGR on HDI: I understood that if I block the EGR entrance in the intake manifold with a plate the ECU will sense when activating the EGR valve that the air volume is higher than normal (some sort of correlation with the MAF info). Please let me know if you removed it and you faced this issue (I understood that no error is displayed on the computer - you can only find it with PP2000 - something like "0402 more air than expected"). It seems that one solution is to load an ECU file with EGR line removed; another solution (found it on a Mercedes forum) is related to inserting an electronic device (resistor+diode +etc) between the EGR eletrovalve +12V feed and the MAF and when the EGR electrovalve is activated the electronic device will decrease the output from the MAF, tricking in this way the ECU that the air volume is correct. Any suggestion is welcome .
Thanks.
