Well I managed to pin the timing and get the pump off. Could I F**k get the pulley off though. I have dropped it into a garage who gonna get a puller of some description on it?
Hopefully pars will be here tomorra or wed so might be able to draw a line under this once and for all :shock:

Well the parts finally came today!!!

I had the timing pinned and managed to get the hp pump off leaving the belt in position, I fastened it to the camshaft pulley with a couple of cable ties.
I have just put the other pump on and it looks like the belt is in the same place as the marks seem to line up but the timing seems to have jumped???
Now when I put the 8mm bolt in the fly the camshaft is well off as before they lined up perfect?
I have just counted the teeth on the fly and it is now out by four teeth counting up from the original mark when the cam pin is in postion :cry:
