im fairly sure my boost issues could be related to this fault.

sometimes have boost, sometimes i dont, seems most of the time my car is living with the eml light on.

also noticed that around 2.5k on the revs seems to be the cut off for the boost working, how ever i have had it where i have no boost untill i pust the car upto the 28/3k mark and then it kicks in,

i have found 2 products that i thought i would share with you all.

Forte Diesel Turbo Cleaner will provide the following benefits:

•Cleans sticking Variable Geometry Turbos without dismantling.
•Actively reduces soot emissions.
•Cleans EGR Valves.
•Compatible with all diesel engines.

between 10 and 20 on ebay delivered.

Valvoline EGR & Turbo Cleaner Valve Cleaner VNT Restores Engine 400ml
Cleans EGR valves and Turbo chargers
Leaves no residue
Restores engine performance
EGR + Turbo Cleaner is a blend of selected solvents, carefully formulated to remove deposits on EGR valve and turbo systems. It quickly removes gum, varnish, carbon and dirt.

somewhere around the £5 mark

not sure if anyone has any use of the products as ive not seen anyone mention them, but i have ordered both and will let you know any usefull findings :)

Forte, is Trade stuff & pretty good at what it claims, as for the Valvoline can't comment but for
a skindiver you can't really go wrong

The Forte stuff is really only meant to help keep the turbo clean though, it probably wont fix a sludged up turbo
You want a proper three stage cleaning kit like the one from Innotech, others are available
You can get it from ebay, now for £39.95 inc p&p (was £33) :frown:
It's a proper harsh chemical cleaner that works, steer clear of any with water in the product (it's not good for metallic turbos)

Will take 2-4 hours to do but is well worth the effort 8)
Hope this is of some help DDD.
