Good to hear that it's running properly again. Hope it didn't cost a fortune in the end.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

No problem with you asking on here, it's probably hard to find a Ford forum that's no all tuning boxes and txt spk.
i've just defected to the other side with a TDCI Connect van, sorry chaps, couldn't take take the nonsense with my Siemens 90 anymore.
Anyway, the Connect forum are not all from the 'hat on backwards' brigade, though a few definitely are. :)

just checking autodata and its has a known fixes and bulitins and the p2051 code is in there. it suggest replacing the fuel filter so if it has not been replaced, replace it. also list the cause as water/contamination in the fuel system, so that mite be why it has not been fixed.

Blimey, not having much luck there are you. To be fair though if it's all working ok now you should keep it and rack up the miles as a pay back.
