TBH I reckon this was there a bit even before the EGR crapped out, been doing it a little bit for ages, maybe 6 months or more. If you remember that's why I bought the stupidly expensive Bosch plugs and replaced the NGK ones that were in there. Been driving with a heavier right foot for the last couple of months so haven't really noticed it, but this last week or so I've decided to try and improve the economy a bit, lighter throttle, problem becomes more aparent :?

this maybe a sign of your high pressure pump starting to show its age as well, but its highly unlikely as when the pump starts to go it does it all the time
