hahaha....no big drama........cause the waste gate arm had come off it's level lol :oops: :oops:
Cheers for your help though. I had to imagine the worst due to tike constraints.

I know I've got to take mine off to do the gasket so I'll keep you posted on my progress when I get round to it! :lol:

mat, you dont have the take the turbo off, its just two allen bolts and one hose clip, there just right buggers to get at

FAQ - 406 D8 petrol (excl. V6) running and starting problems

It sounds as though you need double jointed elbows & wrists from what you're saying, I'm up for a challenge though :lol:

On the 2.0 turbo as i've got you just need to pop the driveshaft out then its not that hard to get to - with the right tools though!

Because one goes all the way across the back of the engine and there's more clearance once it's gone?

I'm gonna have to take a look at this later out of curiosity. Driveshaft out ?! :shock:

The Haynes manual doesn't even tell you to do that.... and the Peugeot one definately doesn't.... that's just another job after swapping the turbo... replacing final drive seals and gearbox oil ! :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:
