Umm, just a thought - which pressure gauge are you using? It occured to me that maybe the one you're using could be a tad mangled and you're overpressuring them. I'm not sure if the wheels and tyres you're using are what your car left the factory with, if not then maybe your pressure sticker doesn't apply. As for dropping pressures even more, careful you don't go too far and your tyres start wearing on the outer edges.
