Mine doesn't list them like that (i think). Have a scroll thru the settings, think it can be changed.

well i know its a D9, its being a silly bugger already, the power was all back on monday, infact it was shockingly quick, but then yesterday it was a slug again, and today its the same, i took the pipe off the turbo solenoid, and there is no vacuum to it? :?
i dont know whats going on, i think ill wait till the weekend to have a look, all i know at the moment the fuel economy is great

Give it time james, you have to earn its respect and once you have done that the D9 experience will be life changing.

well i went for a drive tonight with the laptop plugged in, the power was being like it was, no power then loads, sure enough the laptop is showing no boost when im getting the power loss, but arround 12-15 psi when the power is there, its bizzare, i think i can rule out a boost leak, at the moment i am suspecting the vacuum pump, or turbo solenoid, ive got to do some more checks this weekend, its driving me mad

Wouldn't the vaccuum pump affect the brakes too?

Can you do a little test and let me know the results ?

Go out for a drive with a downhill where you can coast along for about 20 seconds in gear without touching the accelerator, then put your foot flat to the floor and see if you get boost, then apply and reapply the accelerator about 10 times pausing for about 2-3 seconds at each end of up and down, then see if the boost slowly dissapears.

coasting down a hill will recharge your boost reservoir, whereas applying and releasing the accelerator will use up all the boost if there is a vacuum leak somewhere, the actuators for each of the solenoids has a rubber diaphram in it, and they seem to split internally and leak the vacuum away much faster than they should when split

Do you know how many actuators your car has ?, mine has 1 on the EGR, 1 on the turbo wastegate, and 1 on the inlet butterfly swirl chamber thingey (dont know its technical name!!)

its being even more stupid now, the power is there all the time, so its behaving itself, though i just found out the cd player doesnt work, but one good thing, the fuel economy is amazing, i just got 857 miles from a full tank 8)

It's my first car with a turbo, I've been enjoying it a bit too much I think
I've got acceleration like my bike now! :cheesy:

I really need to give it a good service  It's got a halfords oil filter on it and christ knows what oil, haven't looked at the air filter yet.
I like my tubby though :cheesy:
