Re: HOW MANY MILES HAS YOUR PUG COVERED?
Bought my 2000 2.0 hdi executive estate in January this year with 162k and just clocked over to 172k, and I'm still loving it
Re: HOW MANY MILES HAS YOUR PUG COVERED?
65,000.
V6 (d9) 3.0 litre manual saloon. Aircon, full leather, Sat Nav (now working intermittently!) and SR. Owned since new in August 2002.
No major problems in that time, just the usual pug niggles such as electrics: replaced driver's mirror control switch (expensive); replaced aircon blower; replaced battery at 10 years. Never replaced a single lightbub though! Oh, and the original ignition coils all died within 8 years. But the V6 is known for that.
Car runs a treat, though of late there is a rattle from the engine on (some) cold starts, but this goes away on subsequent (warm) starts. No idea what the cause is. I suspect the clutch may need replacing soon(ish). Other than that I am as delighted with the car as when I bought it, and it still effortlessly tops 130mph (where permitted) in double-quick time!
I don't know what I'll do when Peugeot stop making parts for it, as I have no wish to change the car.
