Evening all :)

I am purchasing an eBay bargain on Saturday. A 2001, 406 Executive Estate 2.0 HDi 110.

It's a tidy car, but above average miles at 167k.

The first job, will be cambelt kit (incl rollers/tensioners), water pump, and aux belt, for peice of mind.

I have had my older, 1.9 XUD 406 engine in bits before, but never a HDi.

Do I need any special tools to do the job. I'm very confident with a spanner - had the engine out and changed the head gasket/clutch on my old TD, but I'm for some reason nervous / unsure about the HDi.

Any advice would be great. Also where do you source parts - I want OE quality - I'm guessing along the lines of Gates/SKF?

Thanks all

Cheers,
James
