Hi everyone, just wondered if anyone could give me some advice, ive got a 1999 hdi (90) & the clutch pedal sits about an inch or more above the brake pedal, the clutch works & operates fine, but this problem is causing me to ride the clutch ( not good i know) i guess i just wondered if there was an adjustment anywhere for it?
kind regards
Keith

Some cars have a rubber bung on the end of a screw to adjust the pedal height, if the 406 doesn't have this try fitting something to the pedal to reduce the height....look at where the pedal rests onto and fit some sort of rubber bung over the pedal to make it sit lower, just be careful that you leave some slack so that the clutch is not being operated by the pedal being pushed down too much.
