hie all guys the RAC guy managed to get my car started today after so many frustrations and without the car .finally he was able to diagnose the problem as to the compression and also the fact that 2 injectors are leaking a bit of diesel on them and recommended that i need to have them looked at and put in new washers and a bit of sealant
he then diagnosed the car with his computer and came up with the following faults, P1517, P1613 and P0603 and he was unable to clear them but unfortunately the engine management light came on and he advised to put the car on a proper diagnostic machine to have the codes cleared.since the battery was completely dead i took the car for a 20 mile spin to charge it but did notice now the car wont go above 3500rpm :( .
if i get the codes cleared will it be able to fire above the 3500rpm as this never happened before the car started having its non start temperamental issues.
any advice would greatly be appreciated.

Those are really obscure codes, I would get the car checked out by someone with proper Peugeot diagnostic stuff. The codes mostly relate to inlet manifold problems, except P0603 which relates to Keep Alive Memory Error....never heard of any of these.

iffy crank / engine speed sensor? that would cause non start AND restricted engine rpms.
