I'm trying to sorce a new Thermostat Housing for my

1996 "406" SRI turbo.

My housing has split and is no longer holding watter.

Are you sure it's the housing and not the cover?
I use Eurocarparts, prices are pretty good. You'll want a new 'stat seal as well!

I think it might be the cover! Its split were the bolst go

May be worth giving them a ring. I got mine second hand but I would imagine it's also pretty cheap from the main dealer

The main fault with mine was the seal as you can see!

Hmm, I found one on Ebay do you think it will fit my PUG?

That one on ebay is the wrong shape. You definitely need to change it though, the bleed valve has been snapped off & replaced with a screw!
It's exactly the same setup as the petrol turbo executive; there have been a few being broken on here recently; have a hunt around the For Sale/Wanted section

1336 A1 about 12 quid from Pug. Same as 406 1.8, and other Pugs/Citroens with this engine of course.
