hello all, just wondering who has the highest mile 406 on here, and how high they actually go,
mine is a 1.9 DT (XUD) only done 119k which i know is low for this engine,
now i know most diesel 406's can do in access of 250k,
has any1 actually got one with more than that on ?

2000 w reg 90 HDI est so far done 140k, and giving me about 55mpg ish.
got it 6 months ago with 127k on it, so working on that basis about 25k a year, shouldn't take me long to get up to the 250k mark.
Mine too sounds just like a tractor, but it is about to have 3000 miles stuck on it in 4 days this weekend
(
whoop whoop a trip back home
)

Ah steve you party pooper. I was enjoying all the relatively new people having their own fun.
For the record, Since I have acquired another 406, I might as well update....155,600 miles. It had a new cylinder head and loads more work done at ££££££ so I'm confident it runs like a car with way less miles than that.

Stickied the big thread (hopefully should stop so many repeats). Locked this one...
