Does anyone know what symptoms a faulty Intake air temp sensor would give?

either rich or weak running depending on what way it fails mate - open circuit, short circuit or just wrong...it will either run ok cold and chug / stall when hot, or not want to tick over cold and be ok hot, or start pinking when hot.....

some cars use it for fuel enrichment but others only use coolant temp. might cause hard starting when hot, or cold, if its reporting wrong air temps but if it goes fully open or short circuit then the ecu should detect that and flag an error on the CEL.
