Hi,
Will ask from my other post correctly in a new topic. Will the intercooler from an HDI 110 fit on a 90 if I changed the air filter box, connecting pipes from the turbo to the intercooler and intercooler to manifiold? or do you need the manifold too?
HDI 90 Intercooler?

Re: HDI 90 Intercooler?
You dont need the manifold itself but you need the 90 degree bend pipe coming off the manifold as it has a connection for the intercooler. You're wasting your time by the way, its a lot of work and you wont see any results and your power definitely wont be 110 if you install it. Might even be less that 90

It'll need a remap to work properly.

Re: HDI 90 Intercooler?
thanks for your replies. Was going to get a remap done, but was thinking of fitting the intercooler 1st, does this make sense and will it make a diff? does the 110 have a larger turbo?

Hold on a mo, I think remapping a 90 rather depends on what system it has - Bosch are ok but I think Siemen's aren't remappable. WHich do you have?

Re: HDI 90 Intercooler?
Been thinking about this mod. Am I right in saying that the piping and intercooler from the 110 will be a straight fit on the 90 and after a remap the 90 should make the same power as a remapped 110?
I knw the FMIC is the way to go if you want to increase turbo boost pressures and 306 HDI owners suggest 150bhp is achieveable with a FMIC and a couple of other mods.
I guess my next question is: Am I silly doing this on a car with 170k on the clock? I would have a sneaking suspicion that my original clutch along with other items mite retire the first time I plant the right foot
