Was reading through the net last night and loads of people with 306 HDI's have unplugged the sensor for the EGR thus stopping the gasses running through a restrictive chamber (That's what I kind of understood?!)
Anyway.... The 406 110 HDI is a bit different in it's housing for the EGR plug compared to the 306 90 HDI. There are 3 little chamber things sitauted on the bulkhead, the Blue Plug lives in the middle one, I took a pic of it for those who may want to try this mod'.
It's just a case of unplugging the Blue Plug and tucking it away......I just put it through one of the other wires as shown on pic.
Results..... A lot better throttle responce and a nice smooth pick up, definatley worth it
