Is there a VAG for a Pug?

I used to own a MK3 Golf VR6 and it had a port to which I connected a lead from my laptop and it showed faults etc. It was a disc with a lead called VAG, it proved interesting having this device.

Question is...... Is there such software for a Pug 406 HDI 110, if so what's it called and where could I buy one?

The term VAG refers to Volkswagen and Audi Group i think,

there is one for the pug called peugeot planet or something and you need a lexia interface and PP2000,
but all that was gathered from reading on here about it,other than that i know very very little about this stuff,
wait a while and somebody who knows will be along soon,

from what i can gather its not a cheap thing to do :frown:

No, it's the £10 lead+software you can get off ebay. Not dealer-level stuff, but does the job

For most 406s you're looking at a Lexia interface and Peugeot Planet 2000 (PP2000) software. £200 for a cheap chinese knock-off on ebay. £500ish for the real deal (without software)

Yup, and mine's now broken too. If I buy another one it'll be from a dealer - the knock-offs are obviously not up to the job

Yup, mine's still broke  However it does work on a D8 1.9TD, 53-plate 206 1.4 petrol etc.

Looks like it just doesn't speak HDi

The interface is about £500 on servicebox if memory serves (look at pictures of them on ebay and you'll see the part number in big letters on the front!). The software I don't think you can buy legitimately
