406 Manual Box will it fit 607?

Just wondering if a 406 manual box will fit a 607 and how much work it might be to do the conversion...

It'll fit in the boot fine.
Which engine? Some are different, some aren't, it's probably down to ratios although I won't be able to tell you if there are any physical differences on top of that.

sorry was refering to the 3.0 v6 petrol models of both

194bhp ES9J4 or 211bhp ES9J4S?
Presuming they're both 5-speed manual boxes from the same type of engine they *should* physically fit fine, although the gear ratios may be different

Sorry in NZ we didn't get any manual 607's.
I know there are problems with the autobox's in both the 406 and the 607, i was assuming being that they are both 3.0 v6's that the gearbox would possibly be interchangeable.
I'll have to look into it a bit more before i look at buying one.
