hi all ,
my air con doesnt work so was gonna take it for a recharge or no charge but have noticed that the fans dnt kick in when air con button is pressed,(the little green light comes on tho) so am not gonna waste my money charging it if this doesnt solve the prob. i am thinking relays but wouldnt know where to look /what 1 looks like/how to test it
any help appreciated
p.s the fans work as they kick in at 95 for cooling puposes

It may just be refusing to work because of low pressure... Take it to Kwik-fit. They don't charge you if they can't improve AC performance http://www.kwik-fit.com/about-air-conditioning.asp and from experience they should be able to tell you what's knackered if you've got a leak (they can't legally put refrigerant into a leaky system, so their machine performs a leak test first)

will do .got a kwik fit 1/2 mile up road thats where the recharge / no charge is .i just had visions that they recharge and i pay but it still would'nt work.didn't realise they do a complete check
