could be anything mate can't you have a colleague who can tow you away for a quarter of a mile and call either RAC or AA to properly diagnose your car and have fault code read.it can be the fuel cut-off switch or the low fuel pressure which might be causing the non start issues.when you attempt to start the car is there an orange key symbol on the dash and the message of engine immobiliser fault on the multi function display screen ???????
there are several faults that can cause these cars not to start especially HDIs being
1) immobiliser fault
2) low fuel pressure system
3)in-tank fuel pump and lastly low- compression as well.
if i was you i will have the car towed a quarter mile then call AA or RAC then you can go from there

theres no faults about immobiliser coming up on the wee screen and there is no orange key symbol i was really hopin that it was jst air in the system

since you have ruled out the immobiliser fault i think you need to bleed the fuel lines then, maybe there is air in the fuel system.did you happen to recently run on very low fuel recently as HDI engines are very complex 1s.is yours a bosch or siemens system ? check the fuel filter if there are any particles in there that might have contaminated the fuel lines plus also i would check the fuel injectors if there is any leakage that might be causing some low fuel pressure.

i bled all fuel lines its a bosch system also its been a new fuel filter thats been put in it could it be possible that the injector cleaner i used has knackered my injectors its for a diesel system but i was told to full my housing up with injector cleaner

Ok - mine did this and it was the immobiliser not recognising the key - yes - a stupid Pug problem - what was required was a wipe clean of the central brain and re-load.
You need a car electrics specialist to sort this with an OBD II programmer - not the cheap ones on eBAY .. a full reader and programmer. You will not necessarily get anything message on the car screen. I read you eliminated this but I would be very careful about dismissing this ...
Easy to fix if you have one of these and shouldn't cost more than £30 for a diagnosis and perhaps £20 more to fix.
