Hi Folks,
I was on my way to the garage to get some fuel this afternoon, unfortunately on the way the car coughed, the eml light came on and when I dipped the clutch it cut out, So I thought great, ive run out of diesel, so I filled a jiffy can and put some in, anyway the car fired up after a few seconds, however the eml light stayed on until I got out of the car and locked it, then when I unlocked it and started it up, then the light went out
To cut a long story short is the eml light supposed to come on when you (foolishly)run out of diesel??
Its a D9 HDi 90 by the way
cheers for any info

Re: Is that normal?
Apparently it's perfectly normal, it triggers low rail pressure I think?
