406 petrol1997 runs lumpy when hot

hi i have just bought a 406 estate glx 1997 r reg and it runs fine to start with but if you leave it for half an hour or so then go to start it again it does but runs like its on 2 cylinders i have just changed the plugs, cleaned the unit in the throttle body housing and tried disconecting the lambda sensor no change when i unplug 1 at a time the fuel injector plugs from right to left the first one stalls the car the second no change third one slight change and last one stalls the car again any body help i have just got the car on fri and cant use it yet been under the bonnet all weekend. when cold it runs perfect smooth as a nut only doing this when hot or been running and left to stand leave to cool then all ok again help me

Does the 2litre have a coil pack or separate leads? I'd be looking in that area for starters...

no it doesnt have leads it has the coil pack
