406 hdi 2ltr 90bhp problems

hi all really stuk at the min with my 406 hdi, it will only start with easy start and then it ticks over fine and when i drive it and go over 3000 revs it stops dead then i have to get the easy start out again any ideas i have allready replaced the tank pump and filter cheers

ohhh i had this same prob on a c5 hdi just last week, anyway i fixed it by changing the glow plugs,fuel filter and there's a ring clamp on the live feed to the glow plugs cleaned it with sandpaper.
did all that and my mate hasnt had any problems since, hope that helps
