Hi,
I've got a 2001 Hdi (90) estate that has started giving me the dreaded Antipollution Fault.
From cold the car runs for 4 minutes before the fault light comes on and goes into limp mode.
I've changed filters and oil. Any ideas where to start looking before going to the main stealer for codes to be read.
Will the stealer need the PIN Code for the car - didn't get the code when I bought the car from Peugeot,
now they want £50 to supply it.

Re: Antipollition Fault help
Getting the fault code read should tell you exactly what it is.
On mine it was the throttle position sensor. I'm now on my second sensor; when it happened again my mechanic squirted some electrical grease into the connector and it has been fine since (that was 2008).

You won't need the PIN code unless it's to recode a key. If you search for 'vin to pin' on Google, you'll find a thread on Digital Kaos where you can post your vin & someone will reply within 24h with the pin code. Got mine that way a few weeks back.

2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)

2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
